When I first got here I would usually be forced to resort to scissors to open the plastic bags (worshiping the banishment of plastic bags from the public square is a first world phenomenon) that most street food comes in. Now I can get the rubber bands off 97.314% of the time without even having to resort to the use of tools.
P.S. Yes I know, I am awesome like that!
