  1. “Our next civil war will not be civil whatsoever.”

I think we’re already in it. The ‘hearts and minds’ phase has been underway for a while; the physicality of lawlessness has been going on for about 2-3 years – along with “lawfare”. Hoping and praying the ‘shooting war’ doesn’t come too soon.

However, St. John, says in Chapter 1, verse 5 of his gospel: “[T]he light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it.”

I’m concentrating on keeping candles lit, and not cursing the darkness. Amen?

P.S. Howdy, Lt, Achilles! (Hoping the evening improved, after this pic was taken.) 🙂

  2. I am still reading “Atlas Shrugged”. Overwhelmed., i cant remember the last time i fell into a novel as im doing now. Oh it is loooong, I’m a fast reader, but, i get up i go out, i do my duties—and then i drop into my corner of the sofa, i open where i left off, and I’m lost in a world of steel rails, millls, fire, smoke.
GOD how i wish i had read this when i was 15. It’s one of those books like “This Side of Paradise” and “Pilgrim at Tinker’s Creek” the energy of which the reader needs youthful reailience to withstand. After all these decades, I’m flattened by it.
