Thoughts from the Chaplain’s Corner: A Musical Interlude

Greetings to all in the Kaffeeklatsch and beyond!

It’s still Sunday afternoon here (a rather dreary one, truth be told). My last few offerings have been rather weighty, I freely admit, so something lighter and brighter might be just the thing….Here’s one of my favorite songs from a later vintage Paul McCartney album (Flaming Pie, 1997) called “Heaven on a Sunday”. Enjoy, and let me know what you think – and what you’re thinking about/doing – on this Sunday into Monday….

Until next time: Peace and Blessings!

Chaps, out….

  1. Thanks for this,Nanda. I haven’t heard Ruby Tuesday for years. It’s really amazingly beautiful.
And today here on our plateau, another blue and russet day. I sat by the water withCal my dog for quite a while late this afternoon, staring fixedly at the sparkles generated by the sun’s reflection as they waxed and waned with the breeze, and seemed to change colour. Cal hauled up a large stick and broke my hypnotic trance by ramming it up,against my knees, so I’d get up and throw it out on the water for her to retrieve. So importuned, I did.

    1. Yep…Love to see favorite artists having fun! Muchisimas! (I’ll put up a jukebox jamboree post when at the PC mañana, ST…That way, they’ll be tucked away and easy to find at the same time, yes?)
