Thnx D’Nanda, this has always been one of my favorite admonishments. The problem is to-day’s conservatives only want to live in peace with those who are actively stealing our wealth and freedom.
It would be funny if it were not so dangerous how quickly they will turn on one of their own who bucks their collective conventional wisdom and enforced rules of good behaviour.

I might step on some toes for saying this, but I wonder if some red state conservatives are just too comfortable, too accustomed to being in the majority, and don’t know how to cope with being in the minority. I know people in Alaska; a few of them used to look down their noses at me because I came from liberal Massachusetts. They knew very well that I was a conservative who had been raised by very conservative parents. No matter. They looked down their noses at me anyway. These same rock ribbed conservatives are now decrying President Trump and wringing their hands over white supremacy.
Thankfully, the vast majority of conservatives are standing by President Trump. I don’t think my old friends in Alaska represent anything other than the fact that Alaska is a very strange place, and if you are wondering how Lisa Murkowski keeps getting elected, I hope that I have shed some light on that 🙂
Seriously, though, I really wonder if red state conservatives are just too comfortable, and either they aren’t willing or don’t even know how to move out of their comfort zone.

*I wonder if some-stress that, some red state conservatives are too comfortable. The reason I say this is because I have encountered some red state conservatives who sneer at me for living in Massachusetts. Even when I explain that I am here to care for my elderly parents, the sneering continues: one guy, who was fully aware of my elderly parents, said that my refusal to abandon my parents meant that I did not care about freedom, because if I really cared about freedom, I would move to a red state and damn the consequences for my parents. I have encountered this kind of attitude too often, and it is very tiresome, but more than that, what does that mindset say about the person who holds it? It’s as though the idea of ever being part of a minority is so unthinkable to them that there is nothing they won’t do to avoid that fate.

Yantra-Mantra-Tantra 3 ways of looking at life and progressing to higher levels. There are many misconceptions about all three. Maximum disinformation floats around is about Tantra. Yes, Tantra uses sex as part of awakening oneself, but it is not just a sexual practice, per se. Because of the disinformation, a large number of people distance themselves from Tantra, even in India. Another aspect is achieving ‘Siddhis’, the magical powers of beyond known realms. However, in the process of awakening, Siddhis are just an indication of how much progress one has made and not the awakening itself. People get powers beyond their imagination and assume that to be a real joy, and fall from grace due to overindulgence. This is not even a drop in the ocean of Yantra-Mantra-Tantra. I hope it helps a bit.
