I’ve donated to this Afghanistan evacuation project, at this website. I feel a bit less helpless after doing so. The site was recommended on a recent podcast I routinely follow. (ST, feel free to remove this if you prefer. I definitely won’t take it personally.)

  1. If the right guys are pushing it, it is probably a worthy cause.

    Should I start a Thailand evacuation fund? I may need a bluewater sailboat to get me and a few smoking hot babes out of here someday.

    1. Mac’s battle buddies on All-Marine Radio describe it as “the *only* such charity whose donations go straight to evacuees.” As to the Thai version: Go for it!
