The all-volunteer military was a worthy gamble but turned out to be a mistake.
Pat Schroeder hated the US military and really got the ball rolling towards chix in the grunts and schtuff like that.

I think and hope that opinions of the top brass are beginning to shift. People used to have a high opinion of the top brass. After Afghanistan, not so much.

And yes, this should have been clear after Benghazi. That it wasn’t was an indication of the high esteem and trust most Americans had in the top brass. That is gone now.

There is a video somewhere I am trying to find of Schroeder working the nose’s camel under the tent with swearing to God she only wanted females to have a straight-up nothing ever to be watered-down shot at flying fighter jets and fighter airplanes only because, you know, combat.
Would not be surprised if that debate has not been disappeared because we could use her words against the Progz now to strengthen our argument.
