Dreadful day yesterday (as to be expected) but my husband bought good stocks at low prices quite aggressively. I’m more conservative and quite fearful of Biden and his attempt to bring the American economy to its knees. Naturally, Putin has become the big player on the world stage but I truly believe the Don would not have allowed this scenario to unfold.
In any case, just a random observation about our “new world” : At some point this madness has to end (?) and my courageous better half is keeping our portfolio tight (high dividend stocks only) and going deep. This strategy paid off nicely today.
Be prepared for a continuous roller coaster ride however and “Be careful out there!” (Quote from an old TV show NYPD Blue).

You caught me there Nanda; I watch so many cop shows it is easy to confuse them. I have officially watched every episode of Law and Order/Law and Order SUV since they went on the air!

Cool! “Blue” and “Hill Street” are still ‘must-see TV’. Though the relationship stuff sometimes got in the way of solving the puzzle. Jerry Orbach juggled Broadway and “Law and Order” creatively, oui?

Most definitely. He was a good choice for that role. I also liked Angie Harmon and Sam Waterson in their roles as DAs.
