…….doesn’t it feel, in retrospect, like that fire in April,2019 was a harbinger of the disasters to come? Covid and the lockdowns. Trump “losing” the 2020 election. Open and widespread support for sacrifice or at least irreparable mutilation of children. Wars and rumors of wars. It has been

hell
of a five years!
But today the great Lady reopens! And Trump, our TRUE president, our once and future president, is there!
I ain’t no Catholic, but….the re-opening of the time-honored cathedral feels like…a nativity, the midwifing of the return to the dark world of love, light, hope. Restoration. It is meet and right so to do.

Alleluja is right! I was in France last spring and saw the outside of Notre Dame. At some point, there were rumors that it would be reopened by last spring, and I was really hoping that would be the case, but of course it wasn’t. I am not much of an international traveler, but I would love to see the inside of Notre Dame. The footage on tv is incredible.
