Lunch

Check out the porcelain. It is made in Lampang City, maybe 2-3 hours south of Chiang Mai.

There is a both fantastic and undiscovered golf course about 16 klicks outside of town.

I love the Thai script on my shiny new microwave.

  1. Ah, it’s home, now that the kitchen is in use: Yay! The porcelain is so apt and bright: Thanks for inviting us! Enjoy checking out the golf course….We won’t breathe a word!

  2. Is that salmon? Where’s the ginger? I would eat this every night for dinner.

Am impressed that your chopsticks appear to be metallic and not wood. The former are far too slippery for me to handle.

But what’s with the wasabi? That’s a total brain pain pour moi. 🙂

  3. Yes, from Norway. I try to eat it at least once a week. Ginger is too much hassle. I like to KISS (keep it simple Stupid).

I love how wasabi clears my nostrils. Plus unlike Thai spice, it clears up within a day or two and my tastebuds return.

  4. Let me try to spot the ingredients here: I see salmon, a ‘thunb’ of ginger, soy sauce, wasabi paste, limes (?), what did I miss, ST? Are you going to grill the salmon into yunminess? Rice/greens on the side? This looks tasty – and fun.

      1. So I did; the chilled glass – I should have recognized that – Grin. I’ll bet it paired well with the sashimi. (Sashimi sort of chemically “cooks” a bit from the marinade, doesn’t it?) I hope you’re not too disappointed that I thought of grilling first.

      2. Re: the T-N-T, how should it be mixed for one who’s never tried one? (Adventurous is great, but aspirating is most definitely not….)

  5. Ready to get some sleep, hermano: Many thanks for the visit, for friendship, and a place to share it. Blessings! I’ll be back at the corner table for some brunch later. Meanwhile: La paz sea contigo! Chao for now….
