      1. I have told Simon that his “If you must fall in love …” post on Rb was the first time I ever saw his avatar there. Then it seemed like when I woke up next AM, he had been suspended.* (Not because of that; I was unaware of all the conflict that it now seems must’ve been going on for a while.). It struck me as hilarious, I couldn’t stop giggling!

Interesting, though, it begs two questions about what makes things funny; why we laugh:
        1. Maybe because the one-liner post was so incongruous on that site? Here, it’s mild!
        2. It was much funnier in its original version, without the highfalutin’ linguistic flourishes. I don’t know why.

*Anyway that entire painful incident (ST’s post, not the massage parlour!) has had a happy issue (Hee hee, THAT phrase never struck me as a euphemism for consumation before!) because:

        here we are!

Actually not as I remember. I had just said something about knowing why the first Boeing went down and 10 jumped my ass. Next thing the whole mob dogpiled me. Then once they had had their fun with accusing me of committing felonies and/or crimes against humanity, suspended then almost immediately banned me for life during that short-lived ‘suspension.’

I already knew the suspension was the precursor to being banned so I just had some fun with it before they de-platformed me.

P.S. It also seems odd to me that all of that transpired by sheer coincidence at the exact time when both you and Liz were ‘off the net.’

      3. “Off the net”….no I remember Commenting about how funny I found the massage parlour post. And yes I remember the argument about Boeing, but I reckon I just didn’t follow the thread all the way because duh, I had no way of understanding the technical stuffđŸ€Ș.
So that’s where all this happened, on that thread where you said you knew but couldn’t tell why the crash had occurred?
Anyway…bygones! We are all happy here! Free to be/you and me, as I think some muppet said. And thanks again!

      4. Okay- even better that you were ‘there’ as it was going down. I had assumed for some reason that you were on yet another of your endless Europen vacations. Yes, I am jealous of the amount of leisure travel that you do but happy for you simultaneously and at the same time.

Finally, a big y.e.s. yes to bygones. In hindsight getting banned from L1 & L2 was the best thing for me, and I hope it will prove to be a good thing for the amazing ‘Ettes as well.
