  1. Watched/Listened to the whole thing – I’ve gotta say: I am rapidly approaching double (ST and AM) fangirl mode. I [HEART] retired Amphibious Green Monsters! Because there is just not enough awesome let loose in the world, ST *needs* to write whatever parts of his story he wants, so that I can have *both* books in my little hands someday, just sayin’.

    1. Yes, they did shut their pie-holes after a while. I’ll time-stamp it for us…Interesting stuff around decision-making, especially, once they let him talk.

    1. Yeah, they’re annoying, but Col. Milburn (I haven’t been introduced.) was great company this afternoon, and easy on the ears and eyes, too. His book is headed this way soon….I can not wait!

      1. Okay, ST….I get it…Wanted to encourage you to write some more, that’s all. I’ll get to the decision-making, ethical, etc. bits and write a post….

    1. I just watched the first minute or so, I can’t watch the whole thing right now-will save it for when I have a day off and can devote the time and concentration to it. 3 hours is a long time, but I am sure it will be worth it 🙂

  2. I’ll time-stamp, and post a little myself: the book is supposed to be shipping soon, too. I’ll devour the whole thing, and post a review, if it ever gets here, that is.

  3. Okay, I’ll ‘fess up….Since ST hasn’t really podcasted yet, an afternoon with Col. Milburn comes closest to nirvana for me. -grin- (I’ll edit/time-stamp/quote-pull and repost mañana.)

    1. They’re at the time-stamps, by category….Too many to list, actually….Col. Milburn talks like you write. -grin- If I knew how to link the time-stamps (as you often do) I’d add them. The book review will be chock-full of them ‘cuz I can use a highlighter. (That’ll happen as soon as it gets here.)

  4. Col. Milburn’s book has arrived! (I also have an e-thank you note from the author!) -happy dance- I’ll have my nose in the book for a bit – in preparation for the review – with “money-quotes” a’plenty….Stay tuned.

  5. Many thanks for the kind words! And yes it was trying to speak in the first 3 minutes but there was a lot of Laphroaig whisky flowing by then…..

    1. Hello, Andy! (If I may address you that way?) So glad you found me (NancyD) here – and “Simon Templar’s” corner of the web. I’m still engaged with the book, but having to take it slowly, because you move me while you inform. This is a rare gift! Again, it’s wonderful that you’ve come by.

    2. It is beyond outstanding to have you pop in on us Col. May I call you – Sir?

We first met, as I recall, when we were with Coalition & Special Warfare (CSW) in the mid-1990s. The last time we talked was in Hawaii shortly before I retired. I was Gen Neller’s IG at the time.

Please feel free to join in the fray here. I am sure you will find my little haram of ‘Ettes most bewitching.
