Should I fly to and around the Philippines on or about (O/A) 1 May and then to the greatest country (evah!) on God’s green Earth O/A 1 June of this year?
Keep in mind, please, nCOVIN-19 if and when you respond.

Yes. 🙂 Don’t worry about nCOVIN-19. Latest word is, we are all going to get it anyway, and for most people, it’s no big deal. Unless you have some pre existing condition that makes you vulnerable to this sort of thing, don’t worry about it. There is no point in worrying about it, at this stage.

So the ChiCom’s did not release a strong enough variant to knock off the rest of mankind?

Not yet, not this time.

This is what I heard on television tonight from both a doctor and President Trump: apparently, experience thus far indicates that corona virus is worse for elderly people than normal flu, but better for the very young than the normal flu. And for those of us in middle age, it isn’t something that we need to worry about unless our health is already compromised in some way. They were talking about how interesting it was that children, who are one of the groups seriously impacted by normal flu, seem to escape from corona unscathed.

ChiComs suck at bio-warfare! I guess, thank heavens, what they can’t steal they can’t make.

I really hope that you are right. I hope this wasn’t just some trial run before something worse comes out.
Somebody has to do something about the ChiComs. Yesterday.

Re: the *other* ? in the OP: Yes, please…..As my sister-in-law, the nurse, posted the other day, “Keep calm, and Wash. Your. Hands.” As to the ChiComs, they may do something about themselves, at the rate they’re going, anyway.

Which, Code Talker, the *other*? in the OP?

Other, being your travel plans: Yes, please!

What was the other than my travel plans?
Dude, you are too smart for me.

Late-night verbal klutziness, hermano….If you feel led to travel, then, yes, please do. If not, we understand.

The other than travel plans was just opinionating about the ChiComs’ ability to do themselves In, if we wait long enough..

I read this last night and took some time to contemplate.
I think you should get the hell out of Asia; I know there is a non-stop to LAX and JFK from Bangkok. From JFK, you could get a 2-2/1/2 hour flight to Jax to see your mother and if you promise to behave, my husband and me of course. 🙂
Between the fer-de-lances/bushmasters, and fried backsides, I’d love to see you find a military career in Camp Pendleton or Pensacola. I’m familiar with both geographic areas and know you’d be happy in either community.

Are we gonna bid on Simon now? Didn’t he tell me once he had some connection with Pa…?👨🌾
To be serious, that’s 2 months away, and at the rate things are developing, I don’t think we can imagine what our concerns will be by then. The Flu Manchu may be waaay in the rear view mirror come spring. Or, if the panic worsens (and the panic is growing exponentially faster than the disease, IMHO) you and the rest of the world may not be making your own travel decisions by then. The airlines, those which survive, will be rationing their services, which will consequently be much more expensive and far less convenient.
So, Mr. McTemplar: Unless you have to decide about this journey right now, ye better bide a wee, laddie!

Ladies, home is where the heart is: Maybe ST is home already – or never really left? Just a thought….

Nanda, home is where Simon’s gal pals are who don’t want something from him and won’t let him burn the shit out of his back. Sorry, ST, but I’m not digging those chicks you hang with. Now that I think of it, you’d have a great and SAFE time in Pensacola and don’t forget FL is a tax-free state.
We can keep him out of trouble over here (particularly dermatological issues).
Harrumph!

Well, I am all in favor of Simon coming home, but to be fair, that picture of the burned back wasn’t Simon’s back-it was the back of a woman who volunteered to be a Guinea pig, knowing what the risks were, do I have this right, Simon?

Also, many single women in America would also want things from Simon not unlike what Thai women want.
But I really hope he comes home 🙂
