The recovering English major in me has got to say that your prose is revelatory, even when its subject matter might be seen as rebarbative, by some.
The term ‘friendly fire’ seems ironic, at the very least. The haiku is uniquely yours: It evokes finding/imposing order – and, perhaps, beauty amidst chaos.
