Today was the first day it was warm enough for me to wear flip flops; this may not be exciting for most people, but it is for me, I am so glad that Spring is finally here π

O dandelion! Rich and haughty,/King of village flowers!
Each day is coronation day:/ you have no humble hours,β
(Forgive me if I already posted that; itβs the only dandelion poem I know.) Beautiful pictures!

I don’t know why you are allowing those dandelions safe-space.
P.S. Nice pix.

I am from a family of people who are not super conscientious about our lawns: as long as the lawn is mowed, we feel that we have done our job. We consider dandelions to be flowers π Luckily most of our neighbors feel the same way π

Well fix it, and that is an order, young lady.

Wearing flip flops is no longer exciting- it is de rigueur. I have problems with any close-toed shoes now other than Ugh boots because my foot has widened. I own a dozen pairs of “slaps” (as Californians refer to them).
I fear I’ve gone truly native. All those lovely Pradas just sitting in my closet …

As for dandelions, I have a free service to remove them now- the deer!

They are surely a source of entertainment for this ex- city girl. I was warned beforehand at how domesticated they can become but never, ever, did I expect to wake up the other morning with a nose pressed up against my bedroom window waiting for breakfast.
It really was quite humorous; my doe was so trusting but expectant.
