It was number one on the charts, so yes, it got a ton of airplay. Maybe you were overseas in the jungles of South America neck-deep in the war on drugs and missed that moment of US pop culture? I know the feeling dude.

I may not have been overseas, but spent a lot of time in ‘inner space’ then; pop culture sort of washed over me, unless I surfaced, I suppose. đŸ™‚

Yep. I completely missed the Wendy’s ‘where’s the beef’ era. For the longest time, I had no idea what people where talking about. Still don’t to some extent.

She was perfect for Max’s in her day. The only other one in her league (although a bit more clean-cut) was and is Gwen Stefani. That girl still looks fabulous.
