So, the instant communards in Seattle wanna change their name from “ Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” to “Capitol Hill Organized Protest”.
I wonder why? I mean, they had put up signs, “Now leaving the USA”, and made it clear that in CHAZ “the people” would govern.
I dunno, maybe it dawned on ‘em that the People are gonna go on generating trash, as well as shitting and pissing, and probably , like, also wanna be able to read in bed at night, and charge up their Ipads and Kindles, so, y’know: electricity….
I have to give them credit for coming up with this realization on their own! If I were mayor that’s the first thing I’da pointed out: ok, you’re not part of the US? Then bye-bye utilities and municipal services. But Jenny didn’t make that threat, so it actually seems to have occurred to the communards sua sponte .
But see, if you’re a “protest” then you are still Americans under protection of the First Amendment, no matter how subversive and ultimately destructive your rhetoric.
Fancy that! I reckon the lately despiséd American citizenship has some value after all!
Amazing that the perpetually-pampered-and-pouty have discovered their connection with their predecessors in “Occupy”….Hmmm, anarchist gear looks cool, slogans and screaming get covered: Living at a ‘street festival’ – not so much.

Hyp, maybe it’s not “communards”; how about ‘communerds’? Is that closer to it?

How can anything in human nature be both autonomous and create no product anybody in their right mind wants to buy/ barter for?
