    1. As far as I know there is no established usage of the Like star. Please feel free to use yours as often or rarely as you like and for your own meaning/ purposes.

      1. I get what they meant: you hesitate to “Like” a post where someone has announced terrible personal news, obviously. But this earnest discussion was…just risible.
Here on Unleashed, I still can’t Like posts. I can usually Like comments. T’is enough, t’will serve…

      2. Um…..i was wrong about this entire thread. There was an exchange about the inadequacy of the “Like” button in the Mischief, and I thought that was what you were talking about. I thought it was funny over there. The painstaking, plodding exploration of the issue was so typical of those gents. I didn’t know it was something, coincidentally, that YOU had published. I shouldn’ta mucked in . As you were!

      3. Total coincidence. Yesterday, one of d’Ettes was confused by how I use the Like button. Because that was brought to my attention, as well as the wombat-honey phenomenon, it became necessary for me to explain how I am using the Like button.

In other words just because I have ‘Liked’ a comment does not mean that I agree ‘check zero mills.’

  1. This is the time for my service announcement!

I use the like function as a sign of agreement and I also enjoy reading who has liked what comments. Unfortunately, for the past month my like function hasn’t been working- when I want to like, it doesn’t move and when I want to read likes I get “loading…” and then nothing.

I’m also getting sporadic use of the edit button that I really need! (So pls forgive typos.)

ST has been more than accommodating in trying to tweak my acct to no avail, so if you don’t see anymore likes from me, know it is some kind of malfunctioning error.

      1. Castaneda is familiar, ST….I read him decades ago; and found Don Juan’s style unsatisfying….That may succeed with a traditionally-wired nervous system. Mine, however, was connected using an entirely personalized diagram. 😃

Someone we know managed to “stop my world” at about the same time – in an entirely different way – and restarted it again. Thanks be.
