The movie “Infidel” just came out, and I went to see it tonight. I highly, highly recommend it. It runs a little long-about 2 hours, but I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. There was never a boring moment.
“Infidel” was produced by Dinesh and Debbie D’Souza. Finally, somebody is giving Hollywood a run for their money.
Can’t wait ’til it’s out on DVD, or streamed. If Jim Caviezel is in it, I’ll watch. The interviews with Maria Barteromo and Mike Huckabee are wonderful, too. Thanks, JaC!

P.S. Jim mentions working with Mel Gibson on “The Resurrection of the Christ” soon, too….Yay!

Can you give us the briefest of summaries? Sort of a bottom line up front (BLUF), please?

Yes, the BLUF is, an American guy accepts an invitation to go to Egypt. I dont want to give any spoilers, but you will love this movie, Simon, because in this movie, the Islamic terrorists are the bad guys.

I’ve read several of his books and I know you’ll be interested to hear what he had to say in one of them:
“What I love most about this country is that I once wanted to be a stand-up comedian. My parents were appalled.
As a Brahmin, I was expected to be a doctor, lawyer, businessman so I simply moved away, met Laura Ingraham at Dartmouth and dated her long enough to get infected by her patriotism.”
Cool stuff. Sorry he had to go through what he did in the West. He was probably a bit careless about illegal campaign contributions but no federal crime was committed so gimme a break. Proud to say the Don rescued him!

Lol, how could his life not become precarious after having been kidnapped? You are probably the only person who can make me laugh about a kidnapping 🙂 I shouldn’t be laughing, but, well, I am 🙂

I should tell you about a couple of evenings in Moscow I spent sandwhiched in an unmarked police car with four beefy ‘cops; but, the one in Lima, Peru was the scariest by far and my guess was a close run thing.

I think you’ll have to buy or steal a copy of my autobiography to ‘hear’ that.
I could also read it like on an 8-track, CD or something like that, and sell those too!
