    1. Thanks, Sandomina, I should have some good pics within the next few weeks 🙂 As for the restriction on size, it’s probably honeywombat at work again 🙂

  1. I’m surprised the colour is so late up in New England! But I reckon it has to do with elevation..here on our Plateau, We’ve had beautiful colour for about 2 weeks. Raining now for the next 2 days, so that’ll bring the canopy down. But what people don’t realize is, inside the forest, the young trees and slender Beech sappers are still green; they’ll be brilliant into November. Oh and last but not least: the tamaracks! When all else is bare they turn a bright coppery gold. O how I love the temperate zone!

    1. When I lived in Alaska, they had a few weeks of fall, and the leaves would change, but so many of the trees up there are evergreens that it just wasn’t the same. Plus, there were no reds. The leaves would turn yellow and orange, but never red.

The timing here varies every year. It has been a warm fall so far, so that accounts for why most of the trees are so green. Different years are different 🙂

  2. Various greens, yellows, a bit of red here and there – and blaze orange up top. (That’s across the street from me, the rest is out my library window.) PA is pretty. 🐼

Today I am busy trying to get my driver’s licenses (not a typo. 1 for car & 1 for scooter) renewed. Finally got the docs I need yesterday.
