Cut me to the bone with your tongue
Break my heart with tortures
But my love
When you turn your smile onto me
The pain and heartbreak go away
And I recall why and that
I love you
Cut me to the bone with your tongue
Break my heart with tortures
But my love
When you turn your smile onto me
The pain and heartbreak go away
And I recall why and that
I love you

I’m going to blow you away, God willing, with my next/ second haiku. Maybe that will teach you a lesson in humility or something?

This one is worthy of Cyrano de Bergerac, ST. May the Roxanne who needs to hear it, be found one day.

I still need to know who this is about. You post this haiku consistently.
Hef would be envious of your lifestyle so I’m curious about this woman who may have ensnared your heart. You know I hope it’s Miss IT. 🙂

I wrote this for Mrs. BKK on Feb 14 in North Carolina as I sat alone at an Applebee’s restaurant. I asked the waitress to read it and by the look on her face, I knew I had hit a nerve.
The original is pinned to my fridge by a magnet.
