Example: Pro-choicer who wants stricter regulations and doesn’t even begin to think of Pro-Lifers as Neanderthals! We don’t differ that much. I support abortion under highly specific circumstances primarily regarding any pain or discomfort to the fetus.
We do not think that y’all are crazy for believing that life starts at conception because it’s true (!) but we will accept abortion in limited and regulated situations.
That is the difference in one simple sentence.
Most of us think this way and NOW, #metoo, and the media portray us all as one giant monolith as they do you.
There is absolutely no reason for Lifers and Choicers to be enemies; Jennifer Johnson and I were going to write a post about that together back on L1.
I’d still like to know if she’s around. 🙂

It never ceases to amaze me how this issue has caused so much acrimony when the “two sides” in reality, are perfectly capable of discussing, appreciating and understanding one another’s points de vue.
What we do share is a common respect for life and the treatment thereof.
