      1. Well, as I am sitting here on my sofa, I am not in any position to criticize. In my defense, I was with my mother for 10 hours today, and did not arrive home until an hour before the polls closed. Also, I live in Massachusetts, so it doesn’t matter.

      3. Thank you 🙂 I did sign up to do calls for President Trump, but they never contacted me, which is a shame, because I am actually pretty good on a phone. I have had many telemarketing jobs, and succeeded at almost all of them. Oh, well.

      1. The National Guard is standing by in Massachusetts, and in most places, I think. So, in most places, there won’t be a problem. Those losers only go to where they know they won’t meet with any resistance. Losers.

    1. And they are so racist! There is so much footage of these rich white kids screaming at black cops, using racial epithets, it’s really really bad. Trump is doing better with black people-black men, anyway, than any republican in modern history.

  14. Here is a bit of good news: my district is sending a republican to the statehouse. Almost 12,000 people voted, and he won by less than 400 votes. See, there are sane people in Massachusetts 🙂

  15. Also, it looks like ranked choice voting in Massachusetts is going to be rejected. This is a good thing. Massachusetts is bad enough as it is: ranked choice voting would have made it even worse.

      1. Yes. Massachusetts is lefty, but in an old fashioned kind of way: you can still live here. Ranked choice voting would have turned us into Portland or Seattle. It would have made life here totally unbearable.

    1. I cannot believe how naive I have been for most of my life. Until fairly recently, I really believed that even professional leftists were well meaning people. After the past 6 months, and especially after tonight, it has become impossible to give them the benefit of the doubt. I know what you mean: their constant lies make my head hurt too.

        I couldn’t have expressed my personal concerns any better. We are fast becoming Venezuela but I still don’t get WHY. Poverty, absolute corruption, wealth absconded illegally in the hands of a favored few cause these conditions. (See: oligarchs in Russia).

        We are the wealthiest and most successful nation in the world. Yeah, yeah, Mark Z and Bill Gates are out of my league but prosperity is not a zero sum game. I am certainly not worth billions but I’m affluent enough to have options and enjoy my life because I worked for it.

        Wealth and prosperity are earned here; only 10% is inherited and even then, why do parents work hard if not to leave it to their progeny?

        If I hear one more thing about the “wealth gap” in this country, I’ll hurt somebody. Americans are equal under the law but they are not equal in their abilities. That is the way of the world (see: the differences in the GNP of our planet’s continents).
