Something Has to Give

America’s ruling class is selling us down the river to China. Rioters and looters are allowed to burn cities down, while hard working small business owners are sent to jail for trying to make a living. At least one leftist is suggesting that all children should forced onto puberty blockers. Does anyone doubt that more than one leftist would actually do that if they had the power to? The only thing they haven’t attempted yet is a serious effort to take away our guns: I suspect and fervently hope that any effort to disarm law abiding Americans would result in armed revolt.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts, and I live there right now. Talk of secession has always made me uncomfortable, but lately it doesn’t. The only reason I am in Massachusetts at all anymore is my elderly mother. When it became clear that Biden would probably succeed in stealing the election, I suggested to my mother in all seriousness that we move out West. She totally refuses to do that. She has never lived anywhere other than Western Mass, she doesn’t know anyone anywhere else, and she has no intention of leaving.

Simon often says that Americans are too stupid to live. I hope and pray that isn’t true of all Americans-most of us did in fact vote for President Trump-but it is true of democrats I know in Massachusetts-and the ones I know aren’t that bad, as democrats go. The democrats I know are not radicals themselves, but for some reason, they hate republicans so much that they will go along with whatever radical leftists want, blindly and without questioning. Thankfully, they are not a majority of Americans, but they are a powerful minority, and if Biden ends up in the Oval Office, they will be in charge. These are people I grew up with and love dearly. I am related to some of them, and as much as I love them, I would rather die than live in a world that they control, because there are no limiting principles at work in their thinking, if you can even call it thinking. Most of the people I know are not elites or members of any ruling class. A few of the more foolish ones think they are, but they aren’t. None of them are on welfare or anything like that. All of them are white, so affirmative action has nothing to do with it. They have nothing personally to gain from voting democrat. They are driven by pure, stupid hatred, and some archaic belief that republicans are mean to the poor but democrats are nice to the poor. Not that they actually know anyone who is poor. Not that they would ever deign to associate with a poor person. The vast majority of them wouldn’t.

The stupidity has to be seen to be believed, and I am so weary of it. It has to be stressed: the democrats I know are not radicals. They didn’t come up with any crazy leftist ideas, and they never would have, but they’ll go along with anything leftists dream up. Depending on how you look at it, that might make them worse than radicals.

If it weren’t for my mother, I would be in a deep red state yesterday. Thankfully, there are plenty of conservatives in Massachusetts to associate with, just not enough to win elections, but it’s easy to find other conservatives to commiserate with-often, we talk about leaving Massachusetts. Some of us already have.

We cannot allow democrats to take over the country. We just can’t. The people I speak of are neighbors, friends and relatives: I often used to wonder what it would take for them to see the light, and now I know the answer. Nothing will make them see the light. The Biden family and other elites can sell America out to China in broad daylight, and the democrats I know won’t bat an eye and won’t care-at best, some of them will try to convince themselves and others that Trump was somehow just as bad. They will never see the light, they will never admit that they were wrong. We should pray for them, but if we allow them to be in charge, they will destroy America.

Copy that. I just got off the phone with MLR who has always supported secession; my concern was military recruitment. Mike had a good idea; perhaps we secede regionally which means for us- Texas, Florida, the Gulf Coast, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Kentucky.

Brilliant! That’s where we recruit a lot of Marines. 🙂

  2. I agree with everything you say.
    But what can we do?
After the 2016 election, I thought there WAS one thing: vote. But now, we’ve watched the vote brazenly stolen from us. And the courts have just said, well, it’s too late now: and do you really expect us to order a do-over of a national election?
Yuh I do, Your Honors: whatever happened to your beloved nationwide injunctions, so recklessly wielded to frustrate Trump’s policies?
The last light of the world has been snuffed out.

This is what the local sexpats are telling me. We here are all in a state of shock and disbelief. The acceptance phase of grief is not upon us here in the foothills of the Himalayas.
