A New Strain of Covid?

I should have seen that one coming, but of course I didn’t. Just as the vaccine is being released, an announcement is made that a new and more contagious strain of Covid is emerging in Europe.

I don’t care anymore, and even if I did, I don’t believe what the authorities tell us anymore anyway. They shut the whole world down over a virus that 99.9% of people survive just fine. While they were destroying businesses, they flooded nursing homes with covid positive patients. Cuomo, Baker (who is the governor of Massachusetts) and every other public official who set off the wave of deaths in nursing homes ought to be charged with manslaughter. At the least.

This has gone on long enough.

  1. Viruses mutate. It’s what they do. They go thru hundreds of generations in 24 hrs. It’s fun to be 100% fatal, but they “know” they can’t do that forever because they need living hosts to survive. So they always become more contagious but less severe. The cold virus is a coronavirus too, of such protean variability that we have never even come close to being able to find a prophylaxis nor a cure. S’why we hafta get a a flu shot every year, too.
But I think this announcement Is probably an attempt to keep us under control. Great news about 3 vaccines, thanks to Trump! But don’t imagine you can rip off that mask and have Christmas parties, America….

  2. We have to remember the circumstances. The Political Class (which includes academics, bureaucrats, and media as well as politicians) needs a distraction — something to keep reports about the rising tide of evidence of massive electoral fraud out of the news until Beijing Biden is in the White House. So let’s crank Project Fear about a “pandemic” which 99.9% of people survive up to 11, at least until Jan 20.

Next up — Covid gives you cooties!

    1. Welcome, gavinlongmuir! Great to have you here, and thank you for your comment 🙂

You are totally right, of course, but a “pandemic” works for them in every way, all the time, every time. For them, there is no downside.
