Just sitting here eating some pickled Herring and thinking that for my first Christmas Eve alone in thirty years, maybe I will fry up some pierogies and have some breaded fish tomorrow night for my Christmas Eve Dinner. I will put out an extra place setting, as is the Polish tradition, as well.
I sincerely hope you all will have a better Christmas than I will. And may God assign extra angels to watch over you all.
