The Day After

Reflecting on what happened in DC yesterday: the abdication of the Capitol Police, the complete lack of news as to who the people arrested, and those smiling for the facial recognition cameras, really are….here’s my take:

The Monoparty in DC, excepting only our Don, collaborated on normalizing violence, even though they had a perfect excuse to break up any large gatherings🦠. VP candidate Harris gleefully informed us that the riots weren’t going to stop, and they shouldn’t stop, even after the election. And she and the other Leftists raised money to make sure the looters’n’ arsonists were not detained and could continue their demolition mission the next night. But did GOP politicians do much better? Nah, they didn’t dare. Mustn’t seem to disrespect the eminent drug addicted citizen who died under a cop’s knee. Even Doc-tator Fauci smiled indulgently at the violent rioters: this was important! (Oh, and being able to earn a living and pay your employees wasnt?) Street violence, attacks on and sieges outside governmental buildings, destruction of public property—it was all part of “the new normal”, apparently.

Yes, they had sown the wind. And yesterday, they reaped the whirlwind, just like the Good Book sez.

Selah.

  1. Oh and BTW what was the point of Ol’White Joe’s remark today: it is “unacceptable” that if the Capitol crowd had been BLM, they would have been treated more roughly?
What WOULD be acceptable? A quota for cops, like for traffic tickets given: they have to break a minimum number of white pates per month?
    O God…..it’s going to be a looooong two years….

    1. Did you get a look at the photo of Capitol Police and half dozen anitfas guarding the only BLM street sign in DC? As if anyone was going to vandalize it. Where were our brave cops when statues of American icons were being torn down in the dead of night? I think even the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials were vandalized – no?

      1. Public property was destroyed in huge quantities this summer, for months, and nobody even reacted.
They’re making a bigger deal of this, a few hours of property damage— than they did about that DEM a who shot up our entire GOP leadership!
I’m praying for Trump’s personal safety. I really think he might end up like Qaddafi, his beaten body on display in a freezer case in some mall in the DC suburbs.

      2. The Dems had a win-win with guarding the BLM monument to George Floyd in our nation’s capital. The message is the racist Trump supporters would otherwise destroy everything holy and righteous about the insane leftism that is sweeping our once great nation. If they don’t guard it and nothing happens, it throws a wrench into their narrative that all non-Never Trumpers are card holding members of the KKK. Speaking of Sen. Byrd, wasn’t he a lifelong Democrat and public servant?

    1. Yes— and those Trump supporters who traveled across our country to implore Congress to “Do what’s right!” As they chanted, exhibited “perseverance and spirit”. But their efforts were hijacked and turned against them and us.
But thanks TW! I will try to channel you, and GW.
