For the first time in history, an American president has been impeached twice not for any particular offense but to teach the electorate a lesson- don’t dare rock the boat. Ten House Republicans piled on to the heap as well; many from blue states MI, NY, and CA but LYNN CHENEY?!!! The Don was blamed for the mob attacking the Capitol as if he personally called and instigated every rioter to do so.
To say I am sickened by and ashamed of my country would be an understatement. What disturbs me the most is that my family and I will survive but Trump may never retrieve his financial success or status and his wonderful wife and children will suffer. I guess that’s what the game Whack-a-Mole is truly all about.
Lesson to the wise: Don’t stick your neck out for others. Not worth it.
Oh Liz I am so wretched, these niggling, weak little China lovers, these mental midgets, , these blatant hypocrites— they aren’t worthy to sit in the same room with our Don.
I just pray he and his wonderful family get out of DC alive.
I pray he knows what he did WAS worth it: never again can politicians claim it’s” impossible” to bring peace to the Middle East and the Balkans, to make our country energy independent, to bring about more jobs than workers! God bless him and keep him.
(On a lighter note, happy Alexander Hamilton’s birthday tomorrow,)

“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
[11] Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
[12] Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”
President Trump’s place in heaven, and the place of his whole family in heaven is very, very high. Until several years ago, who ever thought that we would view Donald Trump as a holy man? But he is an incredibly holy man.
Jesus never promised us a rose garden. He never promised us success in this world. He said “Pick up your cross and follow me”. The only thing Jesus promises is death, and eternal life.

I hear you Jac but I am very, very bitter. My hopes and dreams for this country have been crushed.

Let’s not forget that being twice-impeached prevents DJT from ever seeking elected office again – the true purpose of the charade, non?

That’s why they have to hold a trial. Being barred from public office can be part of the verdict. I think Dershowitz and Turley are right, Congress has no jurisdiction over Trump once he is a private citizen ( can you imagine him ever being that!?) But hey, they now control everything, so who’s to stop ‘em? The Supreme Court…? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Political theater in a banana republic, for sure.

I didn’t realize why an effort was being made to impeach a president about to leave office. The evil of the Nevers is mind-blowing.

Hoping so, Liz; but we invited Him out long ago….

The events of 6 January have scared the Ruling Class sierraless. They are throwing the book and the kitchen sink at the ‘country class’ to ensure the little peeps do not get an inkling of the power we actually possess if and when united.

The Republican Party of Mitch McConnell and Liz Cheney will be, at best, a Potemkin opposition party that will do nothing to stop or even slow down the agenda of the radical left. It is time for MAGA to abandon the Republicans and allow them to slouch off toward the dustbin of history.

A couple days ago, on NTD News/in The Epoch Times, Frank Gaffney brought up the need for what he called the “Great America Party”. How many in the country are worn out with “party politics”, period?
How do we make the axiom: “All politics is local.” truly a reality. Was there ever a time when things functioned this way? If so, when did it stop?

I think we’re up to 20000 troops in DC now, innit? to guarantee the safe installation of Ol’ Jo[k]e?
Is it just me or is that, uh, not a good look for a democracy?
Oh and let me take this opportunity to warn the Ettes and the Ites (“Simonites “) and all who enter here: we are being surveilled on social media (just in case any of us plan to try to get through the military cordon) so be careful what you write.
(Yes I know, that’s do as I say not do as I do, coming from me…..)

P.S. I mean everyone in general, not that Unleashed is being surveilled!

A while back, I quoted Candace Owens when she said that what we were witnessing from the left were the last screams of a dying animal. At that time, Hypatia made a brilliant comment: she said that animals are often the most dangerous when they are wounded.

How long did it take a dying Union of Soviet Socialist Republics to finally kick the bucket?

Yeah…I just hope Candace is right about those screams being death agony—I fear they may be birth pangs…

Delusionally delicious….”Never” is already swamp/bilge water under the bridge; put these people in the hospital so their anti-psychotic meds can be monitored.
Any thoughts on the “Problem-Solvers Caucus” in the 117th Congress – being described as an antidote to “the Squad”?

“Problem-Solvers Caucus”
As long as I’m in such a cantankerous mood, does anyone find it ironic that with 100 senators and over 400 representatives, we appear to need more caucuses, advisory committees, etc. ? What do these 500+ people do all day??? (No need to answer that; just venting …)
D.C. is far worse than corporate America with its love of task forces and meetings. I felt strongly against them when I worked for a public company and always admired Rumsfeld for holding his with no chairs. He even worked at a podium, not a desk!

His style may’ve been great, Liz, but Rummy’s self-designed “war plan” (it seems he tore up the limited ones suggested by the military) led to a whole lot more heartbreak in the Sandbox than was necessary. Mac of AMR has no kind words to say about the former SecDef; compares him to the supposedly “brilliant” Robert McNamara and Vietnam. Venting here, too.

I think it’s safe to say we can both vent about the Pentagon in general and our pal ST would agree. I was extricating one specific habit that I’d like to see more of in both business and politics.

Absolutely….Hitting the ground running – or strolling – as the case may be, is vital. Being proactive, rather than reactive, is something Americans used to be known for and need to relearn. 🙂

“The events of 6 January have scared the Ruling Class sierraless.”
A couple days late, but I did want to comment here:
The term “ruling class” usually confuses me because owners of businesses, investors, doctors, attorneys, educators, etc. fall into that class in my view because they keep the economy running. I sometimes get surprised to hear that term applied to people who rarely have worked in the private sector (my greatest turn-off) or even during their tenure in D.C. where they commence to waste my money and yours with their ferocious ankle-biting and Machiavellian plans.
Can we come up with a new moniker, say, “Elected pirates?”
