Korea, Viet Nam, Desert Shield and Desert Storm seem irrelevant right now in light of the true war of WMD created by China. Saddam Hussein was a piker with no wherewithal to harm anyone outside his own country. He didn’t have the cash after sanctions imposed that admittedly were soon to be lifted.
Trump understood this and the current administration will choose to ignore it and allow China to rule the world because we, as a country continue to believe that our enemies share similar goals and values.
As Simon always says, “America is too stupid to live.”
