Maybe y’all can convince Mr. vermavkv to describe the soul striking pulchritudinous. Be sure to ask him about the color of her nail polish. Nevermind, I doubt he even noticed.
Be that as it may, I know at least one female person who is so proud to tell anyone who will listen that she never uses make-up or does her nails. She has no idea why men are not knocking down her door to present her with gifts and/or marriage proposals.
Even at her age, my saintly mother still “puts on her face” (her words) before leaving home.
It sound like this female person is attacking women who use make up and do their nails. I rarely paint my fingernails, because I don’t like my hands and do not want to call attention to them, but all women, especially older women, should always have painted toe nails. Always 🙂
Excellent observation. I was at the dentist today where my 95 yr old mother appears to be a superstar. Everyone there was commenting on her clothes and shoes (she wears Chanel to a doctor’s appt) and how pretty she was. Still pays attention to hair color, mani/pedis and always wears foundation and lipstick. Sometimes my lazy, “nature girl” appearance embarrasses her!
I’m having dinner with her tomorrow night and can’t wait to repeat these compliments. However, this means I’ll have to do full make-up and blow out my hair properly. 🙂
Had to be there, I guess.

With such a lovely, heartfelt invitation, I wish we were there, too….Island life seems to agree with you, ST.

Why am I always missing the pictures? I just read the title with no commentary/photo.

Good to know I’m not alone in this, Liz!…I’m late to the party more often than not.

Do you think he could tell you the color of her nail polish without taking another peek at the photo?

I suspect that he did not care about the color of her nail polish 🙂

I suspect even if he got another look at the photo he would still be unable to identify the color of that particular nail polish. Just sayen’
