I just got back from a walk. 56F, and sunny, so warm enough to smell the earth. I actually knelt and put my face to it. Iβm glad I did. The sharp smell of the soil comes up through the more familiar hay scent of the dry grass.
And yesterday I saw the first blue butterfly! Their official name is Small Azures, they have a wingspan maybe just a bit smaller than a quarter coin. Like the sky is flaking!
