Is caused by weight and lack of exercise. There are more overweight young men than there used to be, so there are more young men with low testosterone than there used to be. I learned this in less than 5 minutes with a google search.
I haven’t been paying much attention to this subject, but now and then I would see people wringing their hands about declining testosterone levels, so I finally decided to google it. Some people blame pollution and plastic and soybeans. I don’t support any of those things, but maybe it isn’t that complicated?
According to what I read in five minutes on google, low testosterone in older men is more likely to result from being overweight and out of shape than simply from age. So, no matter what age you are, the answer is to eat right and exercise. It isn’t rocket science π
All bad things, regardless of gender, are caused by too much weight and too little exercise!

Kids need to be kept outside during the day so that mom & dad can take care of their homework.

Yes! We grew up right near a park, in a neighborhood with tons of kids. We were all outside from 9 am until 9pm in the summer, and after school until 5 pm even during the winter. There was sledding and ice skating to be done! No one had to force us to do this, we wanted to. But, we had so much more freedom than kids do today. Our parents let us roam the neighborhood, unsupervised. Nowadays, parents won’t let kids out of their sight. That is a big reason why kids spend so much time indoors. I don’t have kids, and I sympathize with parents who are afraid for their children’s safety. Not trying to criticize, just saying.

This reminds me of a funny story. One of my friends growing up was the oldest of 7 children. Once, as a young adult, I stopped by her house. She wasn’t there, but most or all of her younger siblings were there, but their parents were nowhere in sight. All of the kids were absorbed in some tv show. I asked where their parents were. “They are in bed, having sex.” I was told. Most of the kids didn’t even look away from the television, they clearly saw this as no big deal. Their parents were and are very devout Catholics. So funny π

P.S. I don’t think low testosterone was that big of a deal for me.
