There is a laboratory in Wuhan dedicated to virology.
An outbreak of a new, deadly virus began in Wuhan.
The Chinese first said it had to do with an unsanitary seafood market but it seems that actually most of the first victims had no contact with the place.
We heard that the illness had to do with eating bats’N’cats (well, civets really aren’t cats, but the rhyme is irresistible). Then we heard, no, it had to do with eating snakes. (What happened to the seafood angle?)
And yet, the liberal media is reacting to any suggestion that the outbreak has something to do with bioweapons being developed in the bioweaponry lab located where the outbreak began by calling it a “conspiracy theory “, something akin to the blood libel. No,wait, scratch that analogy; the blood libel being an anti-Semitic trope, these same pundits would endorse that one. In fact the pre-emptive hostility to the mere suggestion that the virus may have come out of the Wuhan virology lab is probably mostly DUE to the fact that it was an Israeli who actually dared to connect the dots. That was Dany Shoham , a former Israeli military Intelligence officer who has extensively studied Chinese bio-warfare.
Lefty journalists and writers are rushing to defend China from what they seem to assume is a racial slur: we’re just blaming them cuz they’re yellow! as Tom Hanks said about WW II (exhibiting stunning amnesia as to the rather well-known fact that our country was attacked by Japan, not vice-versa.)
Lefty journalists point or the fact that the outbreak began in China. Oh and it wasn’t a lab worker who was patient 1. Anyway: They wouldnta loosed the virus on their own people!
A. Sure they woulda! Mao killed, what?, 8 million of his “own people”. The Chinese people suffered and died in droves during the “Great Leap Forward”. During China’s “One (male) Child” policy, countless Chinese women in the 7th month of pregnancy and beyond had saline injected into their uteri by their so-benign governmental medical personnel; and
B. I’m no scientist, but I’ve heard that a virus is a tiny, wily, invisible l’il critter. An uninfected lab worker coulda slipped up in the decontamination procedures at the end of a long workday and unwittingly carried some contaminated fomite: a comb, a tissue—out into the markets of Wuhan.
Personally, I don’t think Chinese people are “yellow”. In the pictures we’re seeing lately their skin tones appear as porcelain -pale as those masks they’re wearing. But of course, there ARE, undeniably other distinct morphological features associated with their race.
And because of those, we “whites”, (in addition to being blind to those features plain as the noses on our faces) must, also, be “blind” to the mere suggestion that these, ah, “Asians”as we must now say, may have deliberately created this plague, whether or not they botched its introduction to the world outside the lab.
Soon, exactly as happened with AIDS, we will find that any standard, time-tested public health measures to control the spread of this virus are abandoned as bigotry,and instead, those carrying or infected with the Coronavirus will be protected from disclosure of their identities and from disclosure of the virulent contagion they are harboring.
We’ve already seen demands for “diversity” in the personnel of agencies in the US working to prevent any outbreak here. As if merely having been born ethnically Chinese makes an individual more valuable to the effort than qualification in epidemiology and medicine. (Here, I wanted to end with an exclamation point, but really, this is no longer the kind of thing anyone would find incredible.)
Thus, color-blindness progresses inexorably on into total vision loss. And in this instance, to mass death.

I just read that the arguments”it wasn’t a lab worker who was first infected” has been blown away. The wife of a worker in that lab died of a suspiciously Covidesque illness in Dec 2019.
That makes ya wonder, don’t it: have a lot of the workers in that lab gotten sick or died? ANY of them? If they did, there’s our proof. If they didn’t, I would hazard a guess the PinkChinks had a vaccine, or an effective treatment, right from the get-go…..
Maybe they put everybody on Ivermectin! This is a medication you’re familiar with if you have a dog. It’s perfectly safe and harmless UNLESS you’re a parasite. Last year I saw a doctor testifying before Congress about it as an extremely effective treatment. But no. TPTB were not ready to take their knees off our necks THAT early! We heard nothing more (till now) about that time-tested drug. But mebbe the Chinks did…

As mentioned on another comment, Xi makes Saddam Hussein look like a piker. This was a brilliantly planned campaign of WMD and it worked; we have got to get ourselves weaned off our financial dependence upon China. Economist Thomas Sowell claims we could tax every American 100% and never get out of this mess. But on that depressing note, may I pay my respects to the following Americans:
1. The world’s finest military
2. The few, the rare and the brave parents, students, legislators and Governor DeSantis who refuse to back down from wokeism.

I agree it WAS a “brilliantly planned campaign of WMD”. Here’s a scary thought though: why were we formerly told we mustn’t draw that obvious conclusion? Just to Get Trump? And why, now, is the narrative shifting? In SPITE of the fact that black guys are sucker-punching Oriental (so sue me!) women with amazing frequency?
Is it the fact that China just announced it’s preparing for nuclear war against us—and our present “leadership” doesn’t want anybody reminded of our glorious Sun President, who had peace dawning all over the globe? Four and a half months, America: that’s all it took for Ol’ Joke to get rid of Trump’s peace’n’ prosperity,
Oh and I love his latest gambit: any problem that becomes a real issue—put Harris in charge! The latest is the voting “rights” effort. Let’s hope she approaches that like she has the border crisis: let her jet around the country trying to “address the root cause”. Of democracy. She might learn sump’n.

I was not aware of this, (thanks I think) but this is not a new thing with the brothers. It was called polar bear hunting last time around and mainly elderly white dudes were targeted. At least one died but nobody gave a shinola. Many had to be hospitalized for concussions and worse.
George Floyd would not have been my role model but he is a hero now.

Our border crisis could have been fixed 60 years ago. It will never be fixed as long as the American citizens are agnostic on illegal immigration.
