      1. If one will not fight for their rights, it seems the least thing to do is support those who will. My bad, that is just too hard also.

      2. I have lost the bubble. I have no idea what you are talking about. You encouraged people to join the NRA: many people who read this blog may or may not already be members. I stated that I was a member, mostly in an attempt to convince others who may not have joined up yet, to join up. I have no idea what is happening here.

      3. I joined the NRA a year ago, and it is now time for me to renew. I joined up because you encouraged me to, and hopefully we can encourage others to do so as well. The fact that someone is not currently a member of the NRA does not mean that they aren’t willing to fight for their rights, or to support those who do. In the year or so before joining the NRA, I gave a lot of money trying to get Trump re elected. There are many different people and organizations to support, and it isn’t always clear which ones to support and which ones to leave by the wayside, but when Simon tells me to support the NRA, I do, and I hope that others will as well.

      4. Many people don’t understand how important it is to be involved, or at the least, to financially support those who are. You don’t have to own guns yourself to belong to the NRA. My Dad belonged to the NRA, and he scoffed at the idea that maybe he needed a gun. After fighting in WWII, he had no interest in guns whatsoever, and he would say that the chances of being killed in a home invasion were about the same as the chances of being struck by lightning: I don’t know if that is true, but he had no interest in owning a gun, but he always supported the 2nd amendment, and so must we all.

  1. Ideally, we should all be involved at the local level. In the past few months, I have contacted a couple of supposedly conservative local groups and told them that I was interested in volunteering. They never got back to me. Which makes me wonder. But we should all be paying attention not just to the national news, but to local politics as well. I was spoiled most of my life: my Dad always knew what the score was with local politics. At election time, he would give me a piece of paper with all the people he wanted me to vote for written down on it. I always voted the way Dad wanted me to, and many of my relatives laugh at me over this, but no one denies that my father was a brilliant man.

There are local elections coming up in November, and you can bet your boots I will be paying attention and doing my research and voting in them.

      1. Lol ๐Ÿ™‚ Agreeing with you is always the right call, but I don’t always make the right call, but this time I did. Just kidding-I was against women voting long before I knew you, Lol ๐Ÿ™‚

      2. But, I don’t know how to put that genie back in the bottle, so what do we do? Well, we know that married women vote republican. I can’t prove it, but I would bet any amount of money that young single women who know that they can count on their fathers also vote republican. The left knows this, which is why they constantly attack men and try to destroy families.

Also, kids who are schooled at home, including girls, are more likely to share their parents’ values as adults.
