..in my experience at least. This morning I was rereading some of our old posts and comments. I think we’ve boldly gone where no man has gone before. And I do mean “man”: we have had various no-holds-barred discussions about masculinity and femininity in which I don’t think any other gents of my cyber acquaintance would ever have participated. So kudos (again) to Simon and the Ettes!
And ye silent followers, chime in. We need to hear from you: what do YOU think about US? Hee Hee, just funnin’—talk to us and each other about the issues. This is an unusually open forum!
I second that emotion, Hypatia, well put….C’mon in, the water’s fine….

I was doing the EXACT same thing this week and I just thought how much fun all of you are and what interesting perspectives we all have. What a group!
And the best thing is there is no sanctimonious judgement or quarrelsome comments just for the sake of argument. Instead, I think this site uses more 🙂 emoticons than anything; we like to have fun and express a sense of humor.
G-d knows we could all benefit from this in the midst of the crazy world we inhabit!!!
Good comment, Hyp.

P.S. People from the past who would fit right in: DocJay, MLR, comedian David Deeble. I miss those guys!

MLR is here, occasionally, isn’t he?
I just emailed a guy I missed from Rb, asked him if he was awakening from the dream of blogging, since I hadn’t seen him around. His response made me think, yeah, he is (though he didn’t say so explicitly). Maybe it’s just an addiction we go through, then emerge out the other side. We have seen people who are wildly popular and highly visible just, one day, pretty much disappear back into RL without a thought for their cyber pals. All is vanity saith the Preacher.

He’s been ill but I call him bi-weekly to catch up.
