Buncha Wimps!

I’m so disgusted I can’t even think of a punchy title.
Did you see the Capitol Police, and Kinzinger and Schiff, st the January 6 hearings?

The police droned on about how traumatized they were, how they needed counseling for months, how they will never be the same. People yelled at them and called them names! One of them asked a moment of silence for Sicknick, who, we now know, died two days after the incident of natural causes.

These are law enforcement officials?

Kinzinger and Schiff were so moved by the cops’ awful trauma that they, both, cried. “You guys won,” sobbed Kinzinger, who looks like a giant toddler anyway. And Schiff choked up over the idea that “we” ( who you callin we, Schifty?) can’t get along with people who don’t look like us. Who did he mean, that guy with the horns? “God help us,” he managed to gurgle through his tears.

But fortunately aides were handing out big boxes of Kleenex as the labile legislators entered the chamber, so Kinzinger didn’t have to blow his nose on his sleeve.

These are our representatives?

Of course it is de rigeur to say we “condemn” what happened on Jan 6. “Armed insurrection”? Nobody was armed (except that cop who shot Babbit). And some “insurrection”, carefully timed to take place between lunch and dinner.

It used to be a joke tag line: “I hate to see a grown man cry.” But I’m finding out it’s really not funny. I DO hate seeing these adult males whingeing like 3 year olds. It makes me feel sick. You can say they’re faking, but that doesn’t make me feel any better. Most men I know and admire don’t cry easily even when they feel sad. Very few people of either sex can cry, actually shed tears, at will. Even professional actors need to rely on “method acting” to do it, and other people who can cry at will are often sociopaths.
These “men” as I suppose we must call them, are either appallingly infantile, or they are sociopaths. Whichever it is, they should not be in law enforcement nor in Congress.

Yet, there they are. Be very afraid.
