Riddle me this Batman: How do current wealth transfers from England to Scotland benefit the descendants of those ‘cleared,’ in other words today’s Scot diaspora, and why are the Highlands forevermore to be vacant of both men and sheep?

I read that almost all the land in Scotland is owned by a few noble or formerly noble families.
And now they’re talkin’ “land reform”. I read that a law was proposed, dk if it passed: that if a tenant has been farming an acreage for over 40 years, and he makes an offer to buy at fair market value, the owner HAS TO sell. Bad news for the Duke of Buccleugh….
