If I were the conspiratorial type I would think a secondary goal here is to humiliate our vets and ensure no warrior ever re/enlists.

I’d call it less than a defeat. It was very simply a lack of will on the administration’s part and our reputation has been permanently stained. The fact that there are thousands of Marines chomping at the bit to rescue our citizens but can’t get the okay from their CiC (I am nauseated by this term as it applies to Joe Biden) is a travesty.
Who can tell what the ignorant “woke” voters will do next to destroy the country? As mentioned previously, American voters are uniformed voters and I have already hired a world class “shark” to do my taxes who will stretch the tax law to its limit to protect my assets. Expensive, but he’s a Trumpian.
I refuse to pay a dime to subsidize morons and traitors who elect Biden, Harris, Schumer, Cuomo, Pelosi. I’ve worked too damn hard and as my favorite movie character of all time- Howard Beale from Network- bellowed:
