He was the Cary Grant of music! One Halloween, my husband took me and two of my girlfriends out as Robert and the Palmer girls. I’m not sure we were quite that irresistible but we did have fun. 🙂

The Rolling Stones’ drummer since 1963 Charlie Watts died today of unknown causes at age 80. They were scheduled for a new tour of the U.S.
I don’t like this period of my life; too many leaving us. 😦

I’m pretty flexible as a devoted music lover so I like the new youngsters but even some of them are dying:
Kurt Cobain- a mess personally but I admired his music. Dead at age 27.
Scott Scapp from Creed- still alive, but heroin destroyed his career…
Oasis- unusual talent but disappeared. “All Around the World” was a truly great song/album.
Never fear (!) I’m still looking and listening …
