Too soon, too fast?

I’m worried about the recall of California Governor Newsom because of latest polls:

He is a full 4.5 % above water. Voters in California are voting “yes” or “no” on recalling Newsom, and then will have to vote on a potential replacement on the same ballot. Right now, the leading replacement looks to be conservative talk show host and attorney Larry Elder, though that isn’t for certain yet.

The residents of California seem to have one choice: Newsom or conservative “black face” white supremacist Larry Elder. I am no Steve Bannon but I wonder if Elder should have left Newsome to self-destruct a bit more before declaring his political ambitions.

I lived in CA for 8 years and have friends/relatives there and I know without a doubt that they would nix the recall of the country’s most incompetent governor if it meant Larry Elder would replace him. I care about this state and support Elder 100% but the GOP has got to come up with a schematic.

  1. “Newsome or conservative “black face” white supremacist Larry Elder.” ???? Wrong. The term “white supremacist” is used far too loosely. Conservatives are not KKK and most Democrats are not communists/socialists who want to kill off anyone who doesn’t adhere to exactly what they believe..

My sister lives in California. The taxes are ridiculous, the restrictions are draconian, and the crime rate is terrible. Newsome can’t even follow his own draconian rules. At this point, even a TV personality would be preferable.

You’re preaching to the choir! I wrote an earlier post about this topic and my abject horror at such an accusation. I was looking for some political advice to get Elder elected because I desperately want him in Sacramento.

  3. I’m really worried by those poll #s. If Newsome does not get recalled, it’s a blow against our freedoms—and I say that from across the country here in Pa.
