Lara Logan Speaks Truth to Power

Lara Logan is the only journalist I am aware of who is really reporting on what is going on in Afghanistan. She appears on Fox every day, often several times a day. Every other media outlet has gone dark on Afghanistan. Today, in the tweet linked to below, Lara Logan calls this darkness what it is: Evil. She is specifically addressing the Washington Post, but her words apply to most American journalists and politicians.

Who is more evil, the Taliban or the American journalists and politicians who cover up for them? I believe that Americans who give cover to the Taliban are more evil than the Taliban. As Simon would say, change my mind.

      6. I have to believe that there are American men somewhere, somehow, doing something or planning to do something. In a country of over 300 million people, I do not believe that all of them will just give up.

      8. I am no longer sure. If not, part of the blame is due to the success of the few, the proud, the trigger pullers.
        Most were fighting with both hands tied behind their backs during entire careers.

      12. I tried to hook up with a pro-Trump group out of Boston shortly after the election, but I think they didn’t trust me, and I don’t blame them. Boston is 2 hours away from where I am, and all of their events took place on days I had to be with my Mom, so I was never able to meet them in person. But I find hope in the fact that they didn’t trust me.

    2. Oh Hell on Earth! I had no idea that this had happened because this wasn’t covered in the MSM and I read and watch everything.
      I honestly don’t think my system can absorb any more devastating news as I was just saying to myself how grateful I am that we survived this day with no attacks.

      3. I heard (?) that he used his 9/11 speech today to speak out against domestic terrorists. I wasn’t watching, so I don’t know for sure. I am going to research it right now.

      5. Yes, I realize this because I just googled the story. It wasn’t only a gang rape; it was an unsurvivable assault. It is a fricking miracle she is alive.

  10. The cover up is always the greater evil. Richard Nixon found that out the hard way. What I do not understand and cannot connect the dots, is why the Media’s love for Democrats is so great that they will support a cause (Islam and the Caliphate) that is bent on destroying their profession?

      Quote of the day for sure! Nixon could have survived Watergate if he’d only acknowledged it sooner rather than later. Americans are remarkably forgiving and an impeachment was a road few citizens wanted to go down.

      Yet no politician has learned this lesson still!
