  1. Lara Logan was explaining the other night how the Taliban wouldn’t even be possible without the Deep State. Is it wrong for me to hate the Deep State more than I hate the Taliban? Because I do.

      1. I cannot do her explanation justice, but essentially, she said that the U.S. is giving money to Pakistan, and the Taliban pretty much operates out of Pakistan, and the Taliban cannot make a move without Pakistan. So, the U.S. is essentially funding the Taliban and allowing everything the Taliban does. If I understood her correctly.

      2. Even when they try to do the right thing the poor darlings always fuck everything up because they lack an essential understanding of people and the real world.

      3. When have they ever tried to do the right thing? Serious question. There is so much that I don’t know, but it is extremely difficult to picture the ruling class Americans who fund the Taliban trying to do the right thing. It just kind of seems like, people are sending American men to fight terrorists while at the same time knowingly funding those terrorists, doing the right thing isn’t really something such people take into consideration. But maybe I am wrong?

      4. I can’t say that they ever do but that we will never know because they always destroy the golden goose regardless of their motivation.
“Fuck up – – – Move up” we used to say when some shitbird got transferred to a plumb assignment.

      5. People are waking up, Simon, hopefully not too late.

Most Americans are so good and so decent that they just cannot conceive of such evil unless they see it with their own eyes, which they now are. My father was so brilliant, but even he never realized or could have imagined how bad things were. Robin and I had to twist his arm to get him to vote for Trump. Seriously: he disliked Trump so much, and was so clueless about the Deep State that he was seriously on the fence about who to vote for. And my Dad was a lot smarter than most people are.

The ruling class have now ripped their masks off. I suspect and hope that they did it too soon, but time will tell.

      6. My Dad ended up absolutely loving Trump after he witnessed what Trump did in office. About 6 months or a year after Trump was elected, I asked my Dad how he felt about Trump, and he was very pleasantly surprised and delighted. He had no regrets about how he had voted.
