His last 100 meters would probably be a US collegiate record for females (if I may use that word in polite society) to this day. It may not look like it because, you know, smooth but these cats are almost flying for the whole race.
As well as the 4×440 relay, I ran the 880 and hated it because it was basically a full sprint for two foxtrotting laps!
