When President Trump was in office, and the wall was being built, I took it for granted that once the wall was complete and the border was totally secured, we would look into amnesty for illegal immigrants. I was fully prepared to support amnesty, as long as the border was secure.
Now? Not in a million years.

I would only add Judy that the Reagan administration did grant amnesty and it opened up an intolerable can of worms.
We used to be a nation of laws and I do not believe amnesty is the answer. Every country on the planet has strict immigration laws; why the hell don’t we enforce ours?
It isn’t a right to live here; it is a privilege that should be earned. The hard way.
