Tonight, as we were driving to dinner, we pulled up next to a Lincoln Navigator with the following bumper stickers on both the fender and the back window:
“I’m proud to be a Democrat. I support Joe Biden.”
It was a very pleasant day so we had the top down on our convertible. My husband regrets this because I stopped traffic by losing my temper and yelling over to the driver “What is the matter with you?” Inappropriate most certainly but I do not live in a blue state so I resented this political intrusion.
The passengers in this environmentally incorrect monstrosity had the nerve to respond “Ever heard of the First Amendment?”
My response?
“Of course, which is why I am wondering about your support of Joe Biden.”
I never do this sort of thing because it is unseemly but I think I may have reached the end of my rope …

So does my BMD. He insisted that we both change our registrations to Independent,after the 2020 election, and his constant rebuke to me is “Keep your head DOWN!” Hee Hee, wait till he sees my Let’s Go Brandon shirt…
