Veterans Day, 2021

My Mother and I visited my Dad’s grave at the Veterans’ Cemetery today. It was mobbed. There was a group of very tough looking biker type guys holding flags for some kind of ceremony. I am pretty sure that it was a funeral. I wanted to take a picture of them, but not without their permission, and I didn’t want to interrupt whatever was going on.

Thinking of Simon, and all Veterans, every day, but especially today.
