JaC, Lenten dishes are some of my favorites. *Someone* here guided my dear niece through prepping a lovely ceviche with popcorn shrimp for dinner on Good Friday of 2015. She had fun prepping and I had a blast eating it, 🐼
Sorry. I was completely off topic but was watching a golf tournament and one of my favorite players hit water, chipped on a mile away and proceeded to miss his putt for double bogey. Looked like me is all.
Thanks for the panda, always appreciated! 🙂 My Mom’s dish of choice for Lent is swordfish, which she loves. I am not much for seafood, so the whole Catholic thing of eating fish on Fridays has always been a bit of a struggle for me. 🙂
Maybe vegetarian? Eggs and dairy work, too. Quinoa and other grains; avocado, various salads(slaws? There’s always grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. 🐼

I checked this place out around 2015 but it didn’t feel right so I passed, thank God.
