  1. Suspect little bro would look something like this dude with the beard standing in front of his tractor had not that baseball bat rearranged his face.

    White privilege my cracker arse!

      1. No reason to feel sorry for him, it was just his youthful white privilege that finally caught up to him. He was born with the disease of racism because, you know, Caucasian DNA.

      1. Absolutely, we lost Mom P.’s oldest and middle brothers to it. It often goes along with asking your body to do more for longer than it’s created for.

      2. “Tell it to the Marines!”

I don’t have to, ST; you and your fellow grunts know it already. (Both the uncles I mentioned in my comment served in WWII. One – the elder – served in the Navy; the other was a Marine – part of the time in China.) They didn’t talk much about it, that I ever heard.)

      3. It seems the internet is at work with its hive mind changing the meaning of this expression to make it as demeaning to Marines as is humanly possible.
        What gives?

      4. Something foul is afoot and it is Progressives doing it with a goal in mind.
As Biden did when he asked Trump to condemn the Proud Boys during the Presidential debate.

Nanda, please don’t change the name again. I can hardly remember everything without people adding to the confusion.

        Is it the Proud Boys?

      5. Not sure that I made a reference to the Proud Boys in this conversation, ST, so I’m not sure what “name-changing” I might have done earlier.

      6. “The Proud Boys is an American far-right, neo-fascist, and exclusively male organization that promotes and engages in political violence in the United States.”

        Top of the search page.

But if your skin is black, you can burn down your own neighborhoods and almost kill Reginald Denny.

      7. Understood. This whole epidemic of tolerated lawlessness is beyond my comprehension. And it seems to have faded from the national consciousness, of course.

      8. “A scornful response to an unbelievable story.” Originates in the 1830s British Navy; interservice rivalry: “You may tell it to the Marines. The sailors will not believe them.”

      9. I think it’s more like: “You say this is impossible…. Tell it to the Marines. They’ll do it, since you can’t.”, myself. Can’t always trust ‘Net history, Master Po. Enlighten me, if you will.

      10. The one who wrote my Winning the Peace is rehashed nation building. They seem to think he knows what he is talking about.

      11. Is the “the price of freedom” the phrase you are referring to? I am pretty sure it is, I just want to be 100% sure.

That is what you said. In an earlier comment you used the phrase “pricetag of freedom”, so I assume that is the expression you were talking about. You said nothing wrong. I was just 98% sure of something, and wanted to be 100% sure-nothing to do with you. 🙂

      13. Solid Copy: thank you for clarifying, and sorry about the confusion! I am more tired than usual tonight, and will be going to bed in a few minutes 🙂

  2. Another curious thing is how many young ladies outside of the Patriarchy want to get inside the Patriarchy with a US military guy.

  5. I thought you wrote “Proud Patriot Boys” or something like that, Nanda, in a thread long long ago and it makes me want to ask Mr. Google from time to time to confirm which is which.
