Make America great again by ending foreign aid. Our ~$15,000,000,000.00 annual foreign aid program is and has been doing more harm than good for decades. It is time to end these pork barrel programs that send our hard earned tax dollars overseas to the corrupt, rich and powerful foreign political classes. Our political class won’t give up these programs easily either since they’ll lose abd least one pot of our money with which to buy friends, both foreign and domestic.
If we really want to help the poor then the best way to do that is through free trade and foreign internal defense programs. Buy their goods, send them ours, and send our ambassadors in uniform to help them defend themselves.
Start by ending the Food for Peace program that has been bankrupting foreign framers while making “welfare mothers” out of the recipients.
The Donald needs to promote free trade, freedom, and security, not protectionism and isolationism. He should promote prosperity and security, perhaps even liberty, to the third world through a strings attached free trade policy.

My mother, who is just a few months shy of 90 and sharp as a knife, often speaks of all the money we send to South American countries, and how it never reaches the people who need it, and then the people who need it end up flooding into the U.S.
My mother never spent one minute in college, but she is a pillar of common sense. I often tell her that I wish she were president. I don’t want a female president, ever, but would make an exception for my mother 🙂
