The United States left Afghanistan on 30 August 2021. Most people thought that the USA was running away. However, they were leaving Afghanistan in a planned manner, only for an untrained eye it looked like the US was running away.
So why were they leaving. The idea was brilliant. With the Taliban at the helm of the affairs the US wanted the Central Asia to descend into chaos. That would have sorted out, China and Iran.
Unfortunately the Taliban didn’t live up to the expectations. Therefore, the United States went for the ‘Plan B’. The Ukraine war.
In addition to the pawns Russia and Ukraine, there are four major players that are gaining or losing from the war. The United States, Germany, China and India. My latest article explores the unexplored.

The situation in Ukraine, which Joe Biden is responsible for, makes me ill. There are two possible explanations: either Biden is an evil genius, or he is totally incompetent. Sandomina, you seem to think that he is an evil genius. I think he is totally incompetent. I don’t know which is worse.

Judy, in the fog of war, a lot is happening that one can not confirm. We have to remember that though politicians are essential many decisions in the national interests are taken by organizations we can’t imagine. Anyone from any party could sit on the hot seat; decisions would be taken regardless.

As with so many of these joint combined military exercises, they are not worth the taxpayers money.
Exercise DEFENDER-21 was proven by Russia to primarily be a just another big group hug.

ST, things could get ugly in no time. I am not sure how prepared and cohesive the European forces are.
