Sounds like the sort of thing my Dad used to do. At one point, a squirrel or squirrels were making their way into our house. My Dad acquired or made-not sure which-some kind of cage to trap them alive, and would then release them. But they kept coming back. At one point, he took the caged the squirrel across a large field near our house and then released him. And then walked back to the house, but when he got back to the house, he turned around and the squirrel had followed him home, lol π
When I would ask him to deal with a bug, my Dad always did everything in his power to let the bug live and release it into nature. I love people like Skye’s Mom and my Dad. I wish I could be more like them.
Is this creature a chameleon, trying to assume the silver-grey color of the background?
I think itβs kinda cute. Having picked up newts and salamanders so often during my childhood I donβt feel the same repulsion I do for snakes or insects.
I don’t believe it is a chameleon because this is not the first time that I’ve seen it and the color does not seem to change. This is the first time that I tried to demonstrate the theory of human hierarchy to it.
I heard that it is ‘specist’ to put a label on an entity without first engaging them in an approved safe space to discover how an entity identifies. Not being a biologist I cannot define what this entity is. Now my brain hurts. π
It was like a bad flu and my head didn’t explode in a cloud of blood and pus or any of the other stuff they had jammed down our throats for the last couple of years.
Took off only a bit of his tail with my four iron; wasn’t in the mood to squish him dead yet because, you know,Β© clean up on aisle 7.

Pic represents another reason not to bring Western chix here. It is like (same as) taking ants to a picnic says one of my Land of Oz mates.

I am told that the grandma of the widow Skye’s daughter catches these in and about her home and delivers them deep into the mountain forest.

I have not been very many places, but from what I see on television, Yemen seems like the worst place on earth. Or one of them.

Plus their political system is unstable – at best. Yemen is too close to Saudi Arabia for its own good.

I wasn’t alone, like so many other places, in Yemen thank you Jesus.

Do you know if it bites/is poisonous? Hope it isn’t?

Not poisonous but nasty bite with high chance of an even nastier infection.
